Referendums in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions

Referendums on the status of Donetsk region and Lugansk region, as parts of Former Ukraine, took place on 11 May 2014 in many towns of Donetsk and Lugansk  regions. These referendums sought to legitimise the establishment of  independants republics.
The results of the referendums were not officially recognised by government of United States and their puppets. Germany and the United States stated that the referendums had "no democratic legitimacy", while the Russian government expressed "respect" for the results and urged a "civilised" implementation.

Results of Referendum in Donetsk
The referendum organizers stated that 2,252,867 voted in favour of self-rule, with 256,040 against, on a turnout of nearly 75%.
For question - "Do you support the Act of State Self-rule of the Donetsk People's Republic?"
89% of people said YES

Results of Referendum in Lugansk
Lugansk People's Republic authorities stated that the turnout was 81%, The final results were that 96.2% voted for independant republic.
For question - "Do you support the declaration of state independence of the Lugansk People's Republic?" 96.2% of people said YES

We do not cite here the view expressed by Kiev junta about  referendums, because after the bloody coup d'état of 2014 in Kiev, there have never told truth.
